MAST Hosts Holliday Literacy Spectacular for Families
We recently hosted a joyful Holliday Spectacular for students and families. The evening served as a Title 1 family event with a strong focus on literacy.
Families rotated through reading stations, games, and hands-on activities tied to books and storytelling. Each activity connected reading skills with a fun Holliday theme. Students practiced listening, reading, and sharing stories while spending time with family members.
Teachers and staff guided families through activities designed to support reading at home. Parents learned simple ways to build reading habits through daily routines and shared reading.
The Holliday Spectacular brought families together in a warm and welcoming space. The event celebrated learning, laughter, and the love of reading. MAST values strong school and family partnerships and looks forward to more literacy-focused events throughout the year.
