Jennifer is coming to us from Edwards Middle School, where she taught Special Education for five years. She is a graduate of Summerville High School and Clemson University. She has been teaching color guard with the Daniel band since 2016 and has served as Director of the Daniel Color Guard and Winter Guard since 2019. She is also the head of the color guard at Clemson University. Jennifer is looking forward to teaching at Daniel High School, continuing her work with the freshmen, and helping them transition to high school this year!

My name is Ryan Cory, and I will be a new teacher at Daniel this year. I grew up in New Jersey, but with several family members graduating from Clemson, I have always been a huge fan. I graduated from Clemson studying special education and completed their teacher residency program, where I was in SDPC for all of last year. I am excited to stay in this area and get started at Daniel. I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love sports, music, and the great food that the south has to offer! I am looking forward to being a part of the amazing Daniel community!

Hi, I’m Danielle Elliott, and this is my 21st year in the classroom. I graduated from Clemson University with a double major in History and Psychology, and I hold two master’s degrees in Education from the University of South Carolina. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings—including public schools in Richland 2 and Anderson 4, as well as private schools like Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in Columbia and the Montessori School of Anderson.
I’m passionate about helping students build the skills they need to succeed in college and to become thoughtful, engaged citizens. In my classroom, you’ll also meet Quizno, our bearded dragon and unofficial class mascot.
At home, I live with my husband, who teaches math at R.C. Edwards, our two dogs, Buster and Ivy, and we’re proud parents of a Clemson freshman (and Tiger Band member!). In my spare time, I love traveling, cheering on the Tigers, and building big LEGO projects.

My name is Wayne Rivers, and I will be one of the new teachers at Daniel next year. I am currently 23 years old and graduated from Clemson University in May 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics. I also recently earned a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from Clemson last month. I’m excited to join the team here at Daniel and begin this new chapter. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and taking drives through the mountains in my Mustang.
