✈️ Today was plane amazing! Our preschool classes had an unforgettable field trip to the airport — complete with a guided bus tour, hands-on time with a real airplane, playground fun, and a sweet ice cream treat to top it all off!

Dacusville Elementary is helping to support a good cause created by one of our teacher cadets, Ms. McDougal. We have a donation box in our front office of the school where you can bring supplies if you would like to help support this cause.

They visited the airplane park to explore aviation up close, then soared into fun with a round of Take Flight Mini Golf. From learning about planes to perfecting their putts, it was a day full of curiosity, teamwork, and tons of smiles!

They planted seeds, tasted fresh milk, toured the farm, and met plenty of happy dairy cows. Along the way, they learned all about the hard work behind getting milk to our tables. They wrapped up the day with some delicious farm-made ice cream — the perfect sweet ending!

5th Grade Families! DMS Band will be hosting an Instrument Test-Drive TONIGHT from 5:30-7:30pm in the DMS Cafeteria. This is a chance for families to come find out what band is all about and try out all the instruments offered in 6th Grade Band class. It is a drop-in event, so whatever time you can make it between 5:30 and 7:30pm is fine! Not sure if your student signed up for band? On the fence about band in middle school? Come try it out, no pressure! We can't wait to see everyone TONIGHT between 5:30-7:30pm in the DMS Cafeteria! 💜💛🌊🎶
