Tuesday, January 27, 2026, will also be an eLearning Day for the School District of Pickens County due to continued hazardous travel conditions caused by prolonged cold temperatures. Students will not attend school in person on Monday (1/26) and Tuesday (1/27).
This decision was made after consulting with state and county agencies and closely reviewing weather forecasts. While precipitation will end this evening, forecasted temperatures are expected to remain below freezing for much of Monday and Tuesday, which will prolong unsafe road conditions.
eLearning Days allow students to make up days missed due to inclement weather or other emergencies by completing a set of assignments within 5 school days of returning to school. For more detailed information regarding eLearning Days, please visit our eLearning Day website.
