The School District of Pickens County is continuing to support students and families during the school closure due to coronavirus (COVID-19). We will continue to regularly update our site with the latest information until school operations return to normal. All information is subject to change depending on state and national guidance.

By order of the governor, all South Carolina schools will remain closed until the end of the school year. SDPC will continue to offer digital learning until the end of the year.


The 2019 – 2020 SDPC School Calendar will continue to be followed throughout the school closure.

Graduation ceremonies for Daniel, Easley, Liberty, and Pickens High Schools will be at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, May 29 at each school’s athletic stadium. In the event of rain, ceremonies may be moved to 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 30.

In order to allow for social distancing procedures to be followed at the ceremonies, each senior will receive a limit of 2 free tickets for family members to attend. All ceremonies will be livestreamed so that those who cannot attend can watch.

Parking, safety, ticket distribution and other details for graduation will be communicated by each high school.
