Tina Kelly Wins National Poster Contest

Tina Kelly, guidance counselor at Ambler Elementary School, has won national recognition in the National Career Development Association’s 46th Annual Poster & Poetry Contest entitled “My Career Dreams.”  Kelly won third place in the nation for Poster Category 2 Open Adult.  She will be recognized at the 2012 NCDA Global Career Development (Continued...)

SDPC Student Nutrition Programs Among Nation�s Healthiest

Cherie Latham Named Counselor of the Year

2012 Drive Reading All-Stars Recognized

GMS Student Is District Winner of Lt. Governor's Award

Shannon Duke, an eighth grade student at Gettys Middle School, has been named the district winner of theLieutenant Governor’s Bridging Generations Award.  Shannon is a student in Cindy Whittemore’s Honors English 1 class.

Alive at 25 Course Required to Drive on SDPC Campuses in 12-13

Beginning in the 2012-2013 school year, each student who drives and/or parks on a high school campus in SDPC must successfully complete Alive at 25, a defensive driving program developed by the National Safety Council.  Law enforcement officers teach the 4 ½ hour course in small groups with the goal of preventing traffic violations, collisions, and fatalities.
