Communication Services provides communication, public information, and public relations services to the district, each department and school. Serving as a liaison with the community and the news media, the division ensures that families, residents and media outlets all receive timely and accurate information about the district.
The Communication Services staff produces news releases on district activities, responds to press inquiries and responds to public information and Freedom of Information Act requests. The staff also maintains the district website, distributes an e-newsletter to employees, and produces district publications such as the district calendar, student/parent handbook, report to the community, profile sheets and specialized publications.
