The South Carolina
Department of Social Services is offering Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer
(P-EBT) payments to potentially eligible students who have attended at least five days of virtual/remote school. P-EBT is a benefit to help supplement family food
costs resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and prolonged school schedule
changes.
The deadline for verifying addresses for P-EBT
payments is Friday, March 19, 2021. To begin, visit: https://benefitsportal.dss.sc.gov/#/pebt/addressverification
Families who may be
eligible for P-EBT payments will receive an email from SDPC on March 4 with
information to help with address verification. If your family could benefit
