Roddy All-American

James Roddy, an Easley High senior, has been selected to participate in the 2017 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band. The band marches at half-time during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl televised live on NBC from the Alamodome, San Antonio, Texas on January 7, 2017. James will play mellophone in the All-American Marching Band. He is currently a drum major in the Easley High School Marching Band, and the principal french horn playing in the Easley High School Wind Ensemble.

After a rigorous audition process, only 101 musicians are selected nationwide. James is one of 2 musicians representing South Carolina.

James was recognized by the U.S. Army on October 3 at a ceremony at Easley High School for his achievement. SDPC is very proud of James and the entire EHS band program  under the direction of Director Rick Langdale and Assistant Director Trey Ferrell for their ongoing commitment to excellence!
